Improvements to all elements contributing to sound production have given the current U series pianos a richer voice and better resonance, as well as a more evenly balanced timbre from top to bottom of the keyboard.

Soundboard and frame

Special top bar configurations have increased the power of the soundboard, while various refinements, notably to the bracing, have improved the rigidity, resonance and stability of the structure.

Redesigned hammers

U-series hammers are made from selected materials for each model, to guarantee optimum tonal reproduction, response and durability.

Shock-absorbing keyboard cylinder

A damper mechanism formerly reserved for grand pianos prevents the keyboard cylinder from dropping abruptly, thus ruling out any risk of injury or material damage.
