Description
The PQ-5000-00 is a perfect option for replacing and upgrading the nut in almost any Fender-style electric guitar. It will work in either a flat-bottom or curved-bottom nut slot due to its ingenious design, simply sand down the tab for a curved bottom. It's pre-slotted for quick and easy installation.
TUSQ nuts and saddles have a rich tone without the inconsistency found in ivory, bone and other natural materials. Bone and ivory have hard and soft spots (grain) in each piece, hindering the constant transfer of vibrations to the top of the guitar. TUSQ nuts, saddles and bridge pins are designed to transfer the right string frequencies to the guitar body more efficiently.
