The Animals Pedal Tioga Road Cycling Distortion is a modified version of the famous Rat.
To design the Tioga Road Cycling Distortion, the Japanese brand Animals Pedal teamed up with Matthew Holl, the founder of Wren And Cuff.
This machine is inspired by the old Rat distortion circuit. However, it has been modified to deliver a thicker bass. In addition, a 3-position switch allows you to navigate between two types of saturation (symmetrical or asymmetrical clipping) and a third setting provides a clear overdrive.
The pedal is therefore particularly versatile, while still having a character close to the original Rat.
