Westone Spectrum ST Bass Matsumoku MIJ 1985 1985 Westone Spectrum ST Bass made in the Matsumoku factory in Japan. This instrument is 100% original and features an ebony fingerboard. The bass shows some normal cosmetic wear and a few small dings consistent with its age. There are no structural issues. The electronics function properly, the neck is straight, and the truss rod works as intended. As this is a single-action truss rod, it is close to the end of its adjustment range, but the neck currently has the correct amount of relief and does not require further adjustment. The original finish was white, but as is common with many vintage Japanese instruments from this era, it has naturally aged to a cream color over the years. The instrument has been cleaned, inspected, and professionally set up by our in-house luthier. Everything is fully functional and ready to play.
