With all the feel and tone of a high-output humbucker (SHR-1), this single-coil humbucker is our most powerful passive pickup for Strat. Complete your quest for fire with the Hot Rails for Strat dual-coil pickups. The Hot Rails neck model uses a powerful ceramic magnet and over-wound coils to deliver high quality, well-balanced humbucker sounds for rock and metal. Clean tones are fat and warm, and solos will have that thick, flowing feel. The double-blade construction gives you the ultimate in string coverage, especially for bent notes on the higher frets. The Hot Rails' single-coil humbucker size offers high output, mid-range harmonic loads and aggressive crunch that make it a great bridge pickup for rock and metal. Chords are full and powerful, and single notes jump with incredible sizzle. A Hot Rails in the bridge position will literally transform your Strat into a completely different instrument. Hand-built in Santa Barbara, California, the Hot Rails for Strat Set comes with a 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options and is waxed for squeak-free operation. The Neck / Middle position models will have the same output, wind direction and magnetic polarity. All sets, except the Jimi Hendrix signature model, come with a medium RWRP as the middle mic. Middle RWRP position (reverse wind/reverse polarity) - choose this option to have a pickup that will cancel out hum with any of our neck or bridge models.
