This dual-diaphragm condenser microphone offers warm, accurate sound reproduction. With its five directional settings, it allows you to shape the sound in a variety of ways and is suitable for a multitude of recording applications. Regardless of the console or recording equipment, the MK 8 will adjust its input sensitivity with a three-position attenuator. Two adjustable filters will compensate for proximity effect as well as low frequency hum or structure-borne noise. The MK 8 has two one-inch diaphragms, precision-sprayed with 24-karat gold. The capsule is mounted on a shock mount and housed in a sturdy metal case.
