Supercardioid electret condenser microphone for recording instruments requiring extended frequency response, high SPLs, and fast transient response. For woodwinds, strings, and home studios.
Overview
The e 614 supercardioid microphone is an electret (pre-polarized electrostatic) microphone. It has been designed for demanding applications requiring extended frequency response, fast transient response, small size and high sound pressure levels. With a frequency response ranging from 40 Hz to 20 kHz, the e 614 is able to capture the fullness of the instrument. Its supercardioid polar pattern isolates the microphone from other sounds on stage.
Excellent for percussion instruments, the e 614 is also an ideal choice for woodwind and string instruments. Its excellent acoustic properties also make it a valuable tool in the home studio.
