Description

The Sub Octave Bass Fuzz combines two different fuzzes with a rumbling sub-octave signal, featuring a range of controls to fine-tune your sound, including a separate Dry volume control to ensure clean bass retention. The Sub Octave Bass Fuzz delivers thunderous bass with earth-shattering fuzz. To create this sonic monster, MXR engineers combined the Growl section of the Bass Octave Deluxe with a long forgotten fuzz circuit. With three separate output level controls for fuzz, sub-octave, and dry signals, you can create your own recipe for subterranean sounds without sacrificing the natural sound of your instrument. More versatility comes in the form of tone controls for the fuzz section and two switchable voices-warm and compressed or bright and aggressive-as well as the Mid Level control, which allows you to give your dry signal a little more midrange punch.
