Martin is constantly working on new proprietary techniques and treatments to improve our products. In 2018, Martin made the decision to adjust our existing line of strings so that we could bring you these improved techniques and treatments in our new Authentic Acoustic line.
Martin Authentic Acoustic Superior Performance SP strings feature higher tensile strength and tinned core wire on all six strings that allow for a fuller, more balanced tone, quicker response and increased tuning stability. Our impeccable standards for acoustic guitar sound are built into our string design and precision manufacturing process. That's why we make our own.
