Description

Austere, dark and menacing, the crushing Jim Root Jazzmaster guitar has to be the most minimalist version of the instrument ever conceived in the history of half a century. At the request of the imposing Slipknot guitarist, the two-tone circuitry and control dam have disappeared. Gone are the fret position markers and the huge chrome bridge. In fact, that's just about everything typical of a Jazzmaster, replaced only by fearsome EMG humbucker pickups with brushed nickel covers, a single three-way switch and volume knob, a semi-rigid bridge and nothing else.
