New for 2024, the Fender Custom Shop introduces the 1963 Telecaster Relic. A wonderfully crafted reproduction of the Telecaster from the golden era of Fender’s past, this guitar is a perfect combination of this period’s appointments.

The two-piece select alder body is artfully aged in Relic lacquer Aged Olympic White, Fiesta Red and Lake Placid Blue finishes and is paired with a rift sawn maple neck with ‘60s-style Oval “C” back-shape and a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard. With the throaty midrange and bite of a Custom Shop hand-wound Original Blackguard bridge pickup and the crystalline clarity of a Custom Shop hand-wound Twisted Tele neck pickup, this guitar delivers classic Telecaster tone with astonishing versatility.

Other premium features include 9.5″ radius, 21 narrow tall (6105) frets, Modern Tele wiring with Greasebucket tone circuit, 3-way switch, 3-ply mint green pickguard, ’58-’63 tele bridge with threaded steel saddles, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, wing string tree, deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
