BOSS Tone Studio takes it even further by letting you edit sounds and load impulse responses (IRs) from your computer, or fine-tune sounds wirelessly using our optional Bluetooth adapter and the mobile app. Flexible Real-Time Control With smart control options in a minimalist layout, the GX-10 gives you powerful tools to adjust your sound in real time while you play. Versatile control modes offer maximum flexibility with just three footswitches. The expression pedal toggles between volume and wah and activates the tuner when pulled back. But you can customize it to control almost anything you want using the GX-10’s assignment matrix. Up/Down Mode: Simplify your setup by cycling through memories one by one. Configure basic memories for clean tones, crunchy rhythm tones, and lead tones. You can also load the 66 banks and 198 user memories with custom sounds for your setlist and cycle through them sequentially on stage. Manual Mode: Allows you to reconfigure the footswitches to control three user-assignable targets. Use them as a pedalboard to enable/disable effects or to boost your solo. You can also go a step further by modifying up to 20 assignable parameters with a single press. Bank/Number Mode: Allows you to select memories within banks. It also unlocks the Current Number function, which lets you access one or more parameters by pressing the switch for the currently loaded memory. With this function, you can expand your tonal options for each memory with a solo boost effect, an echo effect, or any other effect you wish to assign. Organize and Save In addition to editing, BOSS Tone Studio lets you organize GX-10 tones into Liveset lists for different gigs and playing situations. You can also access BOSS Tone Exchange within the app to download sounds created by professionals and share GX-10 Livesets with the global BOSS community.
