Switch between Memory and Manual modes to recall presets or enable/disable stomp effects, and easily integrate other stompboxes via mono or stereo I/O. Use the dual send/return jacks for external effects, a four-cable setup, or separate feeds to a PA system or recorder. Gain deeper control with external footswitches and expression pedals, or switch channels remotely on your amp. And thanks to MIDI I/O via space-saving TRS jacks, the GT-1000CORE can control or be controlled by other MIDI devices in your setup.

In a single patch, you have access to 24 simultaneous effects, including two amps at once. And with 250 user patches, there’s plenty of room to store sound creations for any type of gig. The impressive DSP engine provides on-demand power for all available effects, so you’ll never have to worry about running out of processing power while creating sounds.
The heart of your home studio
The GT-1000CORE is an ideal companion for recording and playing at home. It features a multi-channel USB audio/MIDI interface for flexible DAW production and efficient re-amping. Recording mode lets you choose from a variety of built-in speaker and microphone types, and you can also import 16 of your favorite speaker impulse responses in WAV format. And thanks to the intuitive user interface of BOSS Tone Studios, it’s easy to create sounds on a Mac or Windows computer.
AIRD: A Revolution in Digital Amp Processing
The GT-1000CORE leverages BOSS’s revolutionary AIRD technology for a new level of performance, flexibility, and ease of use. AIRD is an evolution of the overall Tube Logic concept behind the Katana, Waza, and Blues Cube amplifiers, adapted to provide a consistent response across the many different scenarios where an amp processor might be used.
AIRD allows the GT-1000CORE to integrate seamlessly into any creative setup, delivering exceptional sound and a natural tube amp feel with minimal adjustments. A wide selection of AIRD output types lets you tailor the sound for any destination, whether it’s a guitar amp input, a power amp driving guitar speakers, or a full-range reference system—or all of these at once. The AIRD is fully integrated with the GT-1000CORE’s amps at every level, so you’ll always enjoy their authentic sound and response, no matter what device you’re plugged into.
Premium Amps and Effects
The GT-1000CORE is loaded with expressive guitar amps, all meticulously designed with AIRD. There are original BOSS amps suited to every guitar style, as well as famous tube amps, from coveted vintage models to modern high-gain heads. A massive range of effects options is also on board, including BOSS classics, vintage stompboxes, MDP effects, and advanced algorithms from the BOSS 500 series. Multiple serial and parallel routings are easy to configure thanks to the intuitive interface. And thanks to the clever Stompbox function, frequently used amp and effect settings can be applied to multiple patches at once.
High-End Bass Processor
The GT-1000CORE is a bass processing powerhouse in a ready-to-use package. Three AIRD bass preamps are provided to shape your basic tone, and eight different overdrive/distortion effects are available for added character. There’s also an MDP bass compressor, as well as a chorus, flanger, wah pedal, and many other effects specifically designed for bass. And thanks to the GT-1000CORE’s versatile effects and output routing, you can deliver an optimized sound to a stage amp or a PA mixer—or even both at the same time.
